We begin in Seoul, spending seven nights in a city where centuries old palaces stand beside modern malls and tea houses mix with K pop cafés. Highlights include royal landmarks, traditional hanok villages, sweeping views from Korea’s tallest tower, and a full day trip to Seoraksan National Park, the country’s most famous mountain destination.
From there we fly to Japan, beginning with seven nights in Kyoto, a city of gardens, temples, and timeless traditions. Here we will visit the Fushimi Inari Shrine, wander through the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, and admire the Golden Pavilion. We will also enjoy the charm of its old neighborhoods and the quiet beauty of riverside paths. The journey then continues to Tokyo for four nights in one of the world’s most exciting capitals, where neon lit districts meet historic treasures such as the Imperial Palace. Along the way, we include time in Osaka and Hiroshima, as well as a memorable day trip to Mount Fuji.
This 18 day tour is thoughtfully paced, with only two hotel changes and the regional flight from Korea to Japan included. Trans Pacific flights are not included. As a designated Walking Tour, guests should be comfortable with daily walking and stairs, but the pace will always be relaxed. From Seoul’s lively streets to Kyoto’s calm beauty and Tokyo’s modern buzz, you will experience the very best of Japan and Korea.

This is the city that shows us Japan’s traditions at their best, and with nearly a week here we will not feel rushed.

Our tours give travelers the structure of a group with room to make personal choices. We include some meals and leave others open, so you can choose what suits you best. You will also have free time on select days to explore on your own, giving everyone the chance to do something they're interested in.

With a maximum of twelve guests, our tours feel personal and efficient. Smaller groups move easily through busy city streets, fit comfortably into local restaurants, creating a smoother and more enjoyable travel experience.
