Registration for a TravelMaven tour requires payment of 20% of the Land Package price as a non-refundable deposit, with the balance of the Land Package price due 60 days prior to departure.
In order to protect these Land Package payments (and airfare), all guests are strongly advised to acquire cancellation insurance when they book their tour. That way, if a guest is forced to cancel at any point prior to departure, they will be able to seek reimbursement from their cancellation insurance provider.
If guests cancel 60 days or more prior to departure, they forfeit their deposit. If guests cancel 60-30 days prior to departure, they receive a 50% refund. If a cancellation is made within 30 days of departure or during the tour itself, there is no refund.
If a tour is substantially changed by TravelMaven (e.g. date or destinations) at any time, clients will be offered the option of a full refund, including their deposit. In the unlikely event that TravelMaven is forced to cancel a tour, clients will receive a 100% refund, including their deposit.
