Flam

We continue to Flåm, a small village set at the end of the Sognefjord, surrounded by steep mountains and calm waters. We arrive by ferry, taking in the dramatic fjord scenery along the way. During our stay, we visit the Stegastein viewpoint for sweeping views over the fjord and surrounding landscape, with time to enjoy the quiet setting before continuing inland.

Oslo

Our next stop is Oslo, Norway’s capital, known for its modern architecture and waterfront setting. We spend two full days, including a walk through the city centre and plenty of time to visit Vigelandsparken, Akershus Fortress and the Norsk Folkemuseum.

Andalsnes

Next, we travel to Åndalsnes, a small town set among some of Norway’s most dramatic mountain scenery. Surrounded by steep peaks and deep valleys, it is known as a gateway to the Romsdalen region. Trondheim

We will travel north to Trondheim, a historic city known for its colourful waterfront and rich past as a former Viking capital. We spend two nights here, with enough time to visit the iconic Nidaros Cathedral and explore the city centre. With its relaxed college town atmosphere, Trondheim offers a nice balance between history and everyday Norwegian life.

Bodo

Next up is Bodø, a coastal town just above the Arctic Circle and our gateway to northern Norway. During our stay, guests can choose between a visit to Saltstraumen, one of the world’s strongest tidal currents, or the Norwegian Aviation Museum, which offers a look at the country’s aviation history.

Lofoten Islands

Our final stop is the Lofoten Islands, a remote archipelago known for its dramatic peaks, fjords, and fishing villages. We travel through the islands by road, taking in the coastal scenery and stopping at some of the most scenic viewpoints. It is one of the most striking landscapes in Norway and a memorable way to end the journey.
