We're all familiar with the classic safari image of an open truck roaming the savannah in east or southern Africa looking for elephants, lions and giraffes. TravelMaven offers this quintessential 'Wild Kingdom' experience with our KRUGER SAFARI.
However, we've taken the safari concept and extended it beyond Africa. For TravelMaven, a SAFARI tour is one that seeks exotic wildlife in amazing natural environments in exotic locations. This could be in Africa, but it could also be many other places in the world.
In 2020, we launched our SAFARI brand with the most iconic destination, Kruger National Park in South Africa. In 2025, we are introducing BORNEO SAFARI, our second destination in the southeast Asian jungles of Malaysia. Next up will be HAIDA GWAII SAFARI, another wildlife adventure along Canada's rugged northwest BC coast.
In future years, our plan is to offer SAFARI tours to more places, possibly the Amazon basin, the Galapagos Islands, the mountains of Uganda or the jungles of Costa Rica.
In the end, we believe this SAFARI approach to travel can be taken anywhere in the world where wildlife is found in beautiful natural settings, so stay tuned for more!
